Ihi FrENZy

Go Kiwi! Ihi FrENZysees the Royal New Zealand Ballet join forces with Te Mātārae I Ōrehu, a 40-strong Māori performance group from Rotorua. Add to the mix music by Split Enz and you've got a showcase for the best of New Zealand's artistic treasures. The first half of the programme, Ihi (power), shows traditional Māori performance at its best - if you thought the All Blacks' haka was fierce, think again! Then choreographer Mark Baldwin's FrENZy takes the audience on a journey that is as Kiwi as it comes. FrENZy features the music of Split Enz, one of New Zealand's most loved bands.
