Kohei Iwamoto

Kohei Iwamoto joined Royal New Zealand Ballet at the start of 2010. He started ballet at the age of 11 in Japan. His talent was evident and he received a scholarship to further his training at The Australian Ballet School.

A career highlight for Kohei was performing the role of a tourist in The Meridian Season of Carmen as he has a passion for playing comical roles. In 2011 he performed the roles of Pinocchio and the adventurous puppet Arlequino in Pinocchio in TOWER Tutus on Tour, and Bluebird and Prince's Friends in The Meridian Season of The Sleeping Beauty.
