Allegro review: Sexy, stylish and awe-inspiring
That’s what NZ Herald dance critic Bernadette Rae thought of the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s latest season Allegro when it premiered in Auckland on Wed 30 July.

Dance critic Jenny Stevenson from Theatreview described all five short ballets in the Allegro mixed bill as “vital and fresh” showcasing “the vigour and versatility of the company dancers” adding that the dancers were “fizzing with enthusiasm and exuberance." Read the full review here.
Allegro: Five Short Ballets closes in Auckland on Saturday 2 August with a 1.30pm matinee followed by a 7.30pm performance, then tours to Hamilton, Napier, Palmerston North, Wellington, Invercargill and Dunedin.
